Description | The law requires that the persons to be appointed as municipal doctors be graduated from the Imperial School of Medicine. In the letter, dated 2 August 1896 and numbered 87, sent by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was reported, with reference to the letter by the Ministry of Commerce and Public Work, that due applications be made to the ministry for the selection of appropriate candidates for such municipal positions. Therefore, it is up to the mutasarrifate to notify the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding the appointment to Beershaba of one engineer and one doctor, requested in this letter, on a special salary.
