Description | It was announced to concerned offices that newborn babies in all the towns, i.e., the center of Jerusalem, Jaffa, Gaza, Hebron and Ramla, shall be vaccinated by municipal doctors and that items of vaccines shall be purchased in order to start the implementation of vaccination. However, due to the workload of the said doctors, it would not be appropriate to send them to villages; additionally, there is no licensed vaccinator here. Therefore, as stated in the 21. article of the Vaccination Regulation, it is appropriate to send a written note to the Ministry of Internal Affairs in order to send here a licensed vaccinator with a monthly salary of 400 piasters for the purpose of vaccinating the people in all the villages of the sanjak. The 6th of Kanûn 'Awwal (1)310 (18th of December 1894). [4 signatures] |
