Description | The requested goods were purchased and transported to the shore of the Dead Sea. The journeymen named Necip bin Miha’il, the tinner, and Istavil Al Kari (?), the painter, were summoned to the municipal council, their cost of arrival and departure were covered from state incomes, and the painter was allocated a wage of 23.30 piasters and the tinner 17.50 piasters as respected current akçe. 10 white mejidie were given to the painter and 5 to the tinner, i.e., 15 in total, which shall be counted within their wages. It is appropriate to write in reply that the said written sum be deducted from their wages and the cost of their arrival and departure be given to them.
