Description

Since Abdul-Muhsin al Shurafâ, the tenant of the third shop inside Jaffa Gate has requested the renewal of his lease from the beginning of Rajab, and upon negotiations, the rent was increased from 23 French liras to 25 liras. The rent increase is appropriate and no one else showed interest in the increase, and due to the difficulty of the council’s treasury, the council has decided to rent the mentioned shop for the mentioned sum for one year, starting from Muharram, (1)320 until Thi al Hijja, (1)320. In order to obtain approval, this decision was taken on the 16th of Kânûn Thânî (1)317 (29th of January 1902).
