Description | Upon the letter, dated 1 September 1901 and numbered 2, sent by the Ministry of Commerce and Public Works, regarding the dispatch of statistics for 1315 (1899-1900) In the first article of the Statistics Regulation in the 4. volume of the Code of Laws, it is specified that in sanjak centers a statistics commission would be established, which is to be composed of the Mutasarrıf, the Accountant, the Correspondence Directorate, the clerk to be appointed by the Court of First Instance, the Forest and Taxes official, the Correspondence Clerk and the official from the Office of Main Register of Revenues. It is thus necessary that the dispatched statistics documents be drawn up by the said commission. Nonetheless, among the dispatched samples, necessary actions have started to be taken regarding the arrangement of statistics about the Jerusalem hospitals and real estates, since they may be filled in by the municipality. A survey of relevant records has shown that this matter must be notified to all kazas in order for the said commission to arrange statistics about agriculture and hospitals; to fill in and send a copy of the specified samples together with its attachment; and that it was stated so in the marginal note by our council on 22 April 1901, which was written upon the afore-mentioned letter. Since the completion and presentation of statistics about hospitals to be arranged by the municipality depend on the arrival of information demanded from some hospitals, it has been understood that they shall be presented when completed. The 8th of Aylûl (1)317 (21st of September 1901). [1 signature] |
