Description | Six hamals have been selected, whose names are written in the hereby presented bill, and who, as explained in the letter, shall wear an emblem and number on their chests. It has been decided that 10 paras shall be taken for bags, saddle-bags and such light goods that can be manually carried from wagons to the place outside the station, i.e., to where carriages stop over; and 20 paras for cases and other goods to be loaded at the back. For the transportation of other commodities and goods from outside the station to other places, six hamals shall not suffice. Hence, it has been understood that it would be necessary for the owners of these commodities and goods to come to an agreement with other hamals for their transportation. The 23rd of Mârt (1)314 (4th of April 1898). [5 signatures] |
