Description | An inspection has been made about the road declared in this petition to be closed and ruined by the priest named Kulucu (?), residing in the place belonging to the Greek monastery near the village, despite the fact that this village has ever been present for the passing of the public. It has been understood from the above-written explanation by the inspection officials that the road does have ever been present, belonging to the public, but was closed by the said priest. Since the protection of public roads is prescribed by the law, it is appropriate to send a letter to the Greek Patriarchate in order to warn that this road be immediately opened and restored. The 19th of Nîsân (1)316 (2nd of May 1900). [4 signatures] |
