Description | Upon the letter, dated 17 July 1900 and numbered 12, by the Tax Directorate regarding the appointment of appraisers by the municipality The persons selected for the said appraisal are Mehmed Abdülvahâb Halidi, Yusuf Nasibe, Fransis Rahil (?) and Davud Kal’a Effendis. However, as is self-evident, since the municipal incomes are not sufficient to cover necessary expenditures, there is an approximate cost deficit of 100 piasters in the budget arranged by the Municipal Association to the account of this year. In consideration of this situation and taking account of the fact that the official duty of the said appraisers can last for one and a half year as their scope of work includes villages, it can be said that there is no financial source to cover 21,600 piasters as a total sum of monthly salaries of 1,200 piasters. As it would be hard to finance it via municipal incomes, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council in order to negotiate its financing via another source. The 12th of Tammûz (1)316 (25th of July 1900). |
