Description | If those who are bitten by a rabid dog and are in need of transportation to Istanbul for treatment are found to be poor, it is advisable to cover the travel costs from the coffers of the municipal council. This issue is mentioned in the decree of Ministry of Internal Affairs, numbered 30, dated 5 January 1895. For this reason, the owner of the petition has been given 200 piasters from the budget of the municipal council. However, it has been deemed necessary that this person is transported from Jaffa to Istanbul by sea, and half of the ticket price is covered. The district governor of Jaffa should be briefed that this cost is to be met from the budget of municipal council of Jaffa, and the office in charge should be informed in official writing about the admission to the hospital in Istanbul.
