Description Even though there is a regulation dated 30 August 1881 entitled as the Public Buildings Regulation which has been in effect there thus far, it has been observed that there is an other Public Buildings Regulation dated 23 August 1891, printed in the eighth page of a periodical named “Mâ-ba‘d-ı Lâhıka-i Kavânîn”. A comparison of these two regulations showed a great deal of difference in their provisions and the amount of building tax to be taken by the municipality. The new regulation has not been sent and notified to our council yet; it would thus be appropriate to search the records of the Correspondence Office, to replicate a copy, if there is any, of the record of the said Public Buildings Regulation dated 23 August 1891, to find out the date and number of the decree by the Ministry of Internal Affairs with which it was notified, and to report the matter to the Ministry of Internal Affairs if no record can be found, and to demand a few copies. The 26th of Kânûn Thânî (1)317 (8th of February 1902).
