Description | It has been understood that problems have arisen for traffic due to the deterioration of the road extending from the Hebron gate and to the Municipal Hospital and the train station, and proliferation of dusts stemming from this deterioration; that these dusts are definitely deleterious to health; and that this road will be completely ruined next year if no solution can be found to improve it this year. They have been thus inspected and it has turned out that its reparation and improvement require 51,050 piasters at the moment and it would require 100,000 piasters next year. There is no source in this year’s budget for the said road; hence, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council for negotiating and ratifying, if deemed convenient, to take 51,050 piasters as debt at a 9% interest for six months, which would be covered from next year’s incomes. The 26th of Tishrîn Awwal (1)311 (7th of November 1895). [4 signatures] |
