Description | The said matter has been negotiated by our council; it is the case that only one piasters is taken by the Bethlehem municipal council from the Jerusalem carriages running between Jerusalem and Bethlehem. It has been considered that it would be fair and proper to take in Jerusalem one piasters from carriages coming from Bethlehem to Jerusalem and going directly back to Bethlehem; three piasters in Bethlehem; and four piasters from those coming here and passing through Bab al-Halil and running in the roads inside and outside Jerusalem. Since the content of the hereby presented budget has also been examined and found to be in compliance with procedure and order, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council for negotiation. The 12th of Kânûn Thânî (1)314 (24th of January 1899). [5 signatures] |
