Description Announcement
We announce that the yearly needs of rye for the imperial soldiers’ animals stationed in the fifth imperial camp in al-Sham and Hûrân is proposed for Dutch auction from the beginning of Tammûz (1)315 until the end of Huzayrân (1)316. This is under the condition to be received from the contractor between one hundred thousand and one hundred and fifty thousand kilos monthly in accordance with the conditions upheld at the council. The auction was decided in favor of the applicant for an amount of twenty two Para for each kilo. This auction will remain open until the fifteenth of Tammûz. So, whoever wants to tender should contact the municipality within three days starting at the date below. [Written] on the 3rd of Tammûz (1)315 (15th of July 1899).
