Description Upon the petition given by the head of Mu’râne (?)
It is stated in the petition that the petitioner’s building has been violated, and as a result, the building has begun to be repaired by the defendant Hacı Hüseyin Topçu Effendi. A file was thus brought against him in the Court of First Instance and a petition was presented on 27 July 1897 via the Mu’râne Patriarchate regarding the stoppage of the work done in the building of Hacı Hüseyin Topçu Effendi until a judgment was given thereof, and this petition was relegated to our council. Hence, in accordance with the provisions of the 53. article of the Public Buildings Regulation in effect as regards this matter, the work done in the said building was stopped after receiving a certificate and determining a guarantor for the petitioner. However, as it has been understood from the above-written inspection report that Hacı Hüseyin Topçu Effendi continues the construction work before this matter is discussed at the court, this work has been stopped again. The 18th of Mârt (1)314 (30th of March 1898).
