Description | An application has been presented by Niqûlâ bin Bânqû, the Orthodox, for a license to build a house on his land, which is located in the land of the Armenians, outside Hebron Gate. The location of the mentioned land has been inspected by one of us, the respectable Abdullâh Effendi and engineer Ibrâhîm Effendi. It was revealed that the width of the road at the front was six arms’ length, and upon discussions it was recommended to make this road eight arms’ length, according to the fifth category stated in Article One of the Buildings Law. Accordingly, the applicant is required to leave one arm’s length of his land for the road and build his house after that length. In order to give the license in this manner, the decision was issued on the 7th of Tishrîn Thânî (1)314 (19th of November 1898). [5 signatures] |
