Description | Upon the petition given by the pharmacist named Hovace Hiristo on 3 September 1901 regarding the running of the steam engine sent by himself for the purpose of snow manufacturing It has been understood that the said engine would be run at the place known by the name of Arz-ul Emîre located at the west of Birket-i Maşallah. As stated in the letter, dated 30 April 1900 and numbered 1, sent by the Ministry of Commerce and Public Works, regarding factories to be run with steam or petroleum, a map that shows the said engine and the buildings around and confirmed by the municipality, a declaration to be received from the petitioner, a bill of 20 liras on behalf of the Retirement Assistance Fund of the Porte, and a boiler tax of 10 Ottoman liras have been taken as policy for the said ministry and hereby presented. If there is no objection against the establishment and construction of the said engine, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council in order to report the matter to the Ministry of Commerce and Public Works via a mandate as attached with necessary documents.
