Description | The walls of two houses, located in the Jewish neighborhood within the city and owned by Sheikh İbrahim Femmi’ (?) and Ali Femmi’, are about to collapse. In a report given by the municipal engineer Nasri (?) Effendi on 27 December 1900 that this situation was posing a threat for passerby there. Thereupon, in accordance with the 48. article of the regulation in effect as regards this matter, a ten-day limit has been set for either the reparation or demolition of the defective house in question. On 22 December 1900, they were reminded of this situation and nothing has been done yet even though the time limit terminated. Therefore, in accordance with the article of the said regulation, this house must be demolished and the demolition expense be covered from the wreckage cost. It is appropriate to issue an order to the municipal police force in order to demolish these two dangerous walls after the arrangement of a mandate of a committee composed of the municipal engineer, muhtar of the neighborhood and an official from the municipal police force.
