Description | A place named İttihâdü’l-Şabatü’l-Mesihiyye (Mesianic Sabbath Unity) was opened by the Protestants and a plate with the same name was hung over the door. As the opening of such places and holding of meetings inside would cause competition and stir up rumors among other groups of faith, it is appropriate to send an official letter to the British Consulate to enjoin that this name plate should be removed. The 25th of Mayîs (1)308 (6th of June 1892). [7 signatures] |
