Description | Brokerage tax (1895-1896): the debtor is Muhammed Ebu Îyd, the guarantors are Mustafa Kalibu (?),Abbas el-Meddâh and Musa Ebu Îyd = 506 piasters 10 coins Brokerage tax (1896-1897): the debtors are Abbas el-Meddâh, Musa Ebu Îyd and el-Hâc Said Ebu Îyd, the guarantors are Mustafa Kalibu (?) ve Muhammed Ebu Îyd = 1,034 piasters = 1,540 piasters 10 coins – Only one thousand five hundred forty-five piasters eleven coins. Brokerage tax of the year 1311 (1895 – 1896) to be collected from Jerusalem is farmed out to the abovementioned person with the guarantee of the abovementioned person. These people still owe 1,540 piasters and 10 coins. The amount has been requested many times, however, it was not paid. According to the 40th article of the Municipal council Regulation, the municipal police should be communicated for the arrest of these names until they pay their debts to the coffers of the Municipal council.
