Description | When the livestock sale tax commonly pertaining to the state treasury and the municipality was put on Dutch auction to the account of 1318 (1902-1903), it was decided that a price of 8,000 piasters be determined for it and 30 French liras be taken on guarantee from Ragıb Al Azizi Effendi. The said taxes did not add up to their previous prices last year, so they were administered for five years on government account; afterwards, they were given to iltizam to the account of seven months and the incomes of the whole year just added up to 5,986 piasters. Since it has now become obvious that it would be more favorable to let it out at a price of 8,000 piasters, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council so as to return it to our council for negotiation and announcement, if deemed suitable. The 12th of Shubât (1)317 (25th of February 1902). [3 signatures] |
