Description | Upon the letter given by the Austrian Consulate on 4 March 1901 Among the said persons, the real name of the person written as Feykıl Sanyal (?) is Feyşil Sanyal (?) and he is a subject of the Austrian state. The other two person named İshak Rotbişin (?) and İbrahim Rokih (?) are not subjects of the Austrian state; the first one is a subject of the French state and the latter of the American state. İshak Rotbişin (?) works at the Rokşild Hospital which is run under the administration of the Austrian Consulate; and the American subject İbrahim Rokih (?) works at the Bikurhulim Hospital which is run under the administration of the German Consulate. These points have been understood as a result of an investigation. As stated in the annotation by the municipal doctor, the necessity for getting a diploma from the Imperial School of Medicine applies not only to the pharmacists practicing their profession on the market, but also naturally to all those practicing the craft of pharmacy, so the priests distributing medicine free of charge are no exception to this rule. Hence, it is appropriate to write in reply to the Austrian Consulate that the said persons shall be banned from practicing pharmacy and their pharmacies be handed down to certificated pharmacists; and also to notify the said persons, İshak Rotbişin (?) and İbrahim Rokih (?) to the French and American Consulates, to which they respectively belong. The 6th of Huzayrân (1)317 (19th of June 1901). [4 signatures] |
