Description | Upon the decision, dated 5 January 1907 and numbered 1224, by the Sanjak Administrative Council, regarding police uniforms The said police uniforms were put on Dutch auction and effective incentives were given to those concerned. As stated in the above-written marginal note by our council, a pair of boots, tasseled fez and a suit of broadcloth garment require a cost of 294.5 piasters. No one came up to offer a lesser price than the ascertained cost and it was stated by the Police Directorate that there is no necessity for fezs and boots due to the paucity of police salaries this year, and the department can be contended with suits of broadcloth garments. Only suits of broadcloth garments were thus put on Dutch auction and in accordance with the attached Dutch auction bills, two samples of broadcloths have been presented as sealed. It was decided that, as for the first of these samples, each arşın be provided at a rate of 30 piasters and the second at a rate of 26 piasters as respected current akçe by Şalomo Kükya; and that the tailor’s fee for each suit of the chief inspector, commissaire and police officials be given at a rate of 83 piasters to Mihâil Harkil. It has been figured out that if these suits are manufactured with the first class of these samples, each would cost 205 piasters; and that if they are manufactured with the second class of the samples, each would costs 200 piasters. It is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council to take due actions in respect thereof. The 18th of Kânûn Thânî (1)322 (31st of January 1907). |
