Description | We announce that according to a telegram from the qaimaqamiyya of Bani S‘ab dated on the 31st of Agustos (1)320 that 11 male and female cows have been taken from one suspicious member of the people there. He pretends that he is taking care of them for someone from Damascus without mentioning his name. Since there is no doubt that the mentioned cows had been stolen, it has been decided that if after 15 days from Sunday 30th of Agustos (1)320 the owner has not come forward, they will be sold under the supervision of the court (mahkama shar‘iyya) and the income kept in the treasury. If there is an owner, he should turn to the mentioned judge. In order for this to be known, these directions were published on the 2nd of Aylûl (1)320 (15th of September 1904). |
