Description | The tubes of vaccine sent from İstanbul to Jerusalem arrive here without undergoing any deterioration despite the distance. Additionally, 700 items of vaccine are spent in the Sanjak of Jerusalem, which is composed of four kazas. Since smallpox vaccines are done for free in the foreign hospitals located in the city, it has been understood that it is unnecessary to go to expense for the establishment of a vaccine house. Nevertheless, it is appropriate to relegate the matter again to the sanjak administrative council. The 3rd of Kanûn Awwal (1)313 (15th of December 1897). [3 signatures] |
