Description | Since the house of Hâj Muhammad Tâj al Ddîn Effendi, Abû Su‘ûd and his relatives, located next to the Magharibah gate, is about to fall, a decision was taken on the 4th of Huzayrân (1)317 to demolish the house in question, and pay a sum of 1731 piasters in installments for its demolition. According to the two decisions taken on the 26th of Huzayrân (1)317 and the 2nd of Tammûz of the same year, of the stated sum a total of 902.5 piasters has been paid from the council’s treasury. Another decision was taken on the 14th of Tammûz in order to collect all mentioned expenses from the recommended person and his relatives; the matter has been referred to the officer for collection of the money. Since collections haven not been possible so far, and the workers haven’t been paid, the council has decided to pay the remainder of the expenses, which is a total of 828 piasters and 30 para from the council’s treasury, to be compensated later on. This decision was taken on the 19th of Tammûz (1)317 (1st of August 1901). [4 signatures] |
