Description

In consideration of the provisions in the tender specifications of the tax paid to the public measurer, it has been understood that the multazim of the tax paid to the public measurer shall collect a tax of 0.02 piasters for 1 İstanbul kile of any kind of cereal to be sold at the market and that he has no right to collect tax under any name other than this one. As claimed in the petition given by the multazim, he has no authority to obtain anything over the rental price of market places. It is appropriate to inform the Kaymakamlık of the Kaza of Hebron with a written decree that it is necessary to abide by longstanding conventions. The 15th of Kânûn Awwal (1)310 (27th of December 1894).
