Description | Regarding the shops constructed by the Military next to Bab-al-Halil Three shops, shown as proof in this marginal note by the Office of Military, have been constructed by the municipality. As they were constructed by a special commission and with the consent by the Sanjak Administrative Council and their incomes were reserved for the permanent expenses of the military, the municipality has no benefits from them. Hence, there is no ground for any critique to be directed to the municipality. As the said shops started to be constructed by the military have been completed and rented out, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council to give detailed information about this matter. The 6th of Tishrîn Awwal (1)317 (19th of October 1901). [4 signatures] |
