Description | Upon the petition given on 15 March 1907 by Abdullah Effendi Abu Akir from Jerusalem and Said Muhammed Al Cavuni regarding the inclusion of the site in Bab-al Halil for road expansion during the trip of His Majesty the German Emperor The sum requested from İlyas Hamisi from the village of Beyt Cala, who is the contractor for the slaughterhouse construction in 1314 (1898 – 1899) and also from his guarantor Cirbis Abudiye: 19,278.2 piasters The debt requested from the inheritors of the deceased Hasan Naşaşibi remaining from the collection of the macadam taxes in 1318 (1902 – 1903): 9,650.1 piasters The debt requested from İlyas Musli, remaining from the collection of the intestine taxes in 1321 (1905 – 1906): 6,955 piasters Total: 35,883.3 piasters As regards the above-written 35,883.3 piasters as respected current akçe requested to the municipal fund, a file has been brought against the debtors; the court decree given in this regard has become definite and the matter has been relegated to the office of execution for the collection of debts. Even though it has been considered that a part of the cost of the said land be covered from the collection of these debts, another part from the 10,000 piasters, included in this year’s municipal budget and regarded as unnecessary to expend from the municipal fund, and the finance of the remaining part be negotiated by the municipal council to gather on the agenda of next year’s budget, it is appropriate to take due action in respect thereof. The 27th of Ağustos (1)323 (9th of September 1907). |
