Description | According to the list tabulated as a result of inspection and inquiries conducted by the municipality doctor and the pharmacist, as of today, 36 persons work as pharmacists. It has been found that 18 of these people do not hold a diploma; 12 of whom are Ottoman subjects while the rest are foreign subjects. Pursuant to the orders pertaining to the issue, necessary measures have been taken time and again to ban those who do not hold a diploma from the profession and the issue has been communicated to your sublime office. However, this has not been implemented based on certain excuses and defenses. Appended is the name, registry and the pharmacy location of 16 persons who work as pharmacists without a diploma either in foreign philanthropic organizations such as monasteries and hospitals or in downtown and neighborhoods. Necessary measures regarding the 12 Ottoman subjects shall be taken. It has been left to the judgment of the Governor of the Sanjak to report to the consulates of those 16 pharmacists who are foreign subjects, that they shall be barred from the profession until they receive their diplomas in due process. The 6th of Aylûl (1)316 (19th of September 1900). |
