We announce to everybody that the al-Shamandûfiya directorate has decided to collect a fee for each 1000 kilogram of vegetable and fruit, according to the tarrifs written above, 20 piasters per majîdî. If the produce was transported from Down Town to al-Mahatta, and from al-Mahatta to Down Town, transport fees will be collected in addition to the tarrif stated above. In order for this to be known, the directions were published on the 25th of Huzayrân (1)314 (7th of July 1898).
