Description | In the letter, dated 23 May 1898, sent by the Office of Main Register of Revenues and relegated to our council, it was stated that, in order not to construct any unlicensed building on state land, it is necessary to obtain a license from our council after applying to the Ottoman government regarding the buildings to be constructed, and taking due actions. The investigation revealed that an unlicensed building was constructed by the persons from the village of Ramallah whose names are written in the hereby presented bill. Since a fine of 1,855.05 piasters must be collected from these persons in accordance with the 54. article of Public Buildings Regulation, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the municipal police force to collect this fine and send it to our council’s fund. The 3rd of Kânûn Awwal (1)317 (16th of December 1901). [1 signature] |
