Description | It has been observed that the people, etcetera, going to the station for seeing off or welcoming passengers travelling with railway trains are prevented by station officials to enter the space up to where the train stops. As it goes without saying, Muslim veiled women and other women and all their children have to be send off either through their own relatives or special servants, thus enabling them to have a rest, but its prevention is by no means appropriate. In addition, this situation lead people to bemoan and complain about being sustained a loss of their goods due to the insufficiency of current porters. Hence, as regards cautioning station officials prevent, as before, not those indubious people coming for farewells or welcomings, but only those passing railway lines, it is appropriate to write letter to the railroad commissariat. The 4th of Agustos (1)314 (16th of August 1898). |
