Description

It is announced in the telegram dated on the 26th of Mârt (1)318, coming from the province of Syria, that the conservation treatment of the Syrian haj caravan in a suitable location next to Ma‘ân. For the pilgrims to have a good stay, it was decided to provide from 800,000 to 100,000 ounces of rusk, 3000 ounces of sugar, 100 sacks of rice, 500 pounds of ghee, 50 sacks of burgul, five kantars of soap, and more than 10000 stretches of barely. Merchants who are interested in supplying any of the mentioned supplies in the stated location can do that. In order for this to be known, this procedure was published on the 30th of Mârt (1)318 (12th of April 1902).
