Description | After the council’s deliberations, it became evident that leaving the municipality’s garden with no attendants could lead to its damage, so it is necessary to appoint a coffeehouse manager. Since Sîdî al-Zâyir the coffee maker pledged to manage the mentioned place, and set up the place on his expense, it has been decided to give him the coffeehouse free of charge to sell coffee and other beverages. It has been decided to give him the shop in the above mentioned manner from the start of Jumâdâ al-'akhira, 328, until Thu al-Hijja, 328. If this pledge is broken during the stated period, the municipality will be obliged to pay the rent of the garden starting from the beginning of Jumâdâ al-'Uûlâ, 328 until the date of breaking the award. The municipality will also be required to clean rubble and earth in the garden and pay for it from the municipality’s treasury. In order to deal with the deed and obtain an agreement in this manner, this decision was taken on the 16th of Mayîs (1)326 (29th of May 1910). [No signatures] |
