Description | Upon the Sanjak Accounting’s marginal note dated 2 February 1909, regarding the amount of money owed by the Goods’ fund to the municipal fund, corresponding to 81,367.3 piasters The above-written marginal note by the Sanjak Accounting has been thoroughly examined. A detailed breakdown and a register were erstwhile drawn up about the 75,303 piasters specified in the requested register. Subsequent to the examination of this register by the Sanjak Administrative Council, the debts of the Goods’ fund were calculated and the Finance Ministry was consulted on this issue, following which the letter mentioned in the text was received. From among the said sum, 63,368 piasters, expended for the salaries of the Public Works officials and the reparation of macadams and bridges, were expended before the Public Works Fund organization and in accordance with the Sanjak Administrative Council’s decisions, by the Municipal Fund on loan from the Goods’ Fund. As for other expenses, whether these are above the allocation or whether there is any convenience for them to be paid via the Goods’ Fund is not within the knowledge of our council. As specified, they have been expended by the Municipal Fund on loan from the Goods’ Fund in accordance with the Sanjak Administrative Council’s decisions. Thus, for negotiating the matter of the said sums not accepted in the Sanjak Accounting’s marginal note to be expended via the Goods’ Fund and taking due action in respect thereof; for conveying the money orders to relevant authorities to make sure that they be returned to the Municipal Fund; and for approving, before the termination of the period of the due bills of the attached floating debts, the 3,117 piasters, expended for the reparation of the prison house and the administration of convicts and for public modification experts and accepted to be covered via the Goods’ Fund, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council. The 22nd of Kânûn Thânî (1)324 (4th of February 1909). |
