Description | Upon the letter, dated 4 April 1910 and numbered 6, sent by the Directorate of the Vill of Ramallah, regarding the foundation of a municipality in the village of Ramallah This attached letter has been examined. The addendum of the Provincial Municipality Law reads: “Following the requirement indicated by provinces and the official memorandum to be sent in to the superior department, permission is given to establish municipal offices in vill centers and big villages capable of being reconstructed, and the municipal taxes taken in such vill centers and villages belong to their own municipal offices.” If it is considered that it would be useful and propitious to establish a municipal office in the Ramallah village, which is now a vill center, it will be appropriate to relegate the matter to the Sanjak Administrative Council for taking due action in respect thereof.
