The improvement expenses of the above-written roads have been put on Dutch auction. After contracting out the work to possible suitors, efforts have been started to bring necessary debris. In addition, for improving the shops located along the road from Bâbü’l-amûd to the German church and whitewashing their walls and arches, necessary steps have been taken together with their owners. This situation is hereby presented to inform you that a contract is about to be made about the expenses of ensign and fittings decided to be installed at the Municipal Hospital and similar spots. The 9th of Tammûz (1)314 (21st of July 1898).
