Description

Upon the letter given on 19 March 1898 by the Public Works Commission
Attempts have been made to acquire necessary vehicles for the reparation of roads under the responsibility of the municipal office. However, the Public Works Commission convened on 9 January 1898 decided that it would be convenient to assign the reparation of the road, extending from Bab-al Halil to the railroad station, under the administration of the Public Works Administration. Due to the fact that there is no financial resource allocated in our council’s budget for this road’s reparation and for the status of the macadam continuing after Birket-i Hicce, it is appropriate to relegate the matter to the Public Works Commission so as to have the reparation made on the Public Works Administration’s account. The 11th of Mârt (1)314 (23rd of March 1898).
