Description

The cost of the reparation of the said iron bar was put to Dutch auction in the presence of the concerned officials, necessary incentives were given to possible suitors, and the price was determined after the completion of bidding. A third of this price shall be paid in advance; the second third shall be paid when half of the work is finished; and the last third shall be paid after the second inspection. It has been decided that a batman of iron be provided by Ilyas Duma Maykıl (?) and Besare Tuma Al Ermeni (?) through the guarantee of Farah Al Makdan (?) at a rate of 10 piasters as respected current akçe. It is appropriate to relegate the matter to the concerned officials in order to begin the work by giving a third of the price to the said persons.
