Description | Upon the petition, dated 4 June 1907 and numbered 118, presented by the Head of the Coptic Monastery regarding the completion of the demolition of the Darü’l-mazbata Another petition was presented on the other day by the petitioner with the purpose of constructing some structures within the said house. Even though no work must be initiated until the completion of the legal process of that petition and the reception of a necessary license, the demolition of the said house was started without obtaining a license. It has been confirmed via the petition presented in this regard that the reason underlying its demolition was to construct a structure there. Initiation of a work without having an official license has been regarded as contrary with the Public Buildings Regulation. Hence, the petition presented in this regard has been relegated to the office of mutasarrifate for taking permission for its demolition and possible granting of a license necessary for the construction. It is appropriate to report in reply that the demolitions must be called to a halt until further response. The 22nd of Mayîs (1)323 (4th of June 1907). |
