Description | Huseyn Effendi the Vaccinator, who was sent from İstanbul, came here and the majority of the population living in the villages of the kaza of Jerusalem was vaccinated by him. As the rest of the population will be vaccinated in the autumn, it is necessary to send the said official to the kaza of Jaffa before summer and, subsequent to the completion of the vaccination of the populating living there, to Gaza. When Huseyn Effendi the Vaccinator arrives in Jaffa, it is necessary to purchase for him vaccination units and to send them to villages. In accordance with the 21. article of the Vaccination Regulation dated 21 July 1894, from the beginning of April of the year 1895, it is necessary to pay Huseyn Effendi the Vaccinator a monthly salary of 400 piasters from the municipal fund and to pay an allowance of 5 piasters per hour according to the distance between the villages to which he will go. Some part of the allowance deserved by Huseyn Effendi the Vaccinator while going from İstanbul to Jerusalem has not been paid. 300 piasters of this remaining allowance have to be paid by the Jerusalem Municipality and 150 piasters have to be paid by the Ramla Municipality. For the payment of the said remaining allowance by the Jaffa and Ramla municipalities, it is appropriate to write a decree from the office of Mutasarrifate and to notify the Kaymakamlık of Jaffa. The 12th of Nisân (1)311 (24th of April 1895). [2 signatures] |
