Description | We have noticed that those who go to the train station, whether they are spectators, interpreters for tourists, hotel owners, carriage drivers, carriers, middle-men (samâsara) or anything else, trespass the permitted limits and enter the area where the train stops. For this reason, there is additional congestion in this area which creates discomfort for the travelers and might cause problems and accidents, whereas the regulations prohibit anyone from entering in the mentioned area. Therefore, and in order to uphold the regulations, maintain the comfort of the travelers and those who arrive, and to prevent danger and accidents, it has been decided to prohibit from now onwards the entry of any spectators and any of the guilds mentioned to the area where the train stops and to ask them to stand on the plaza located outside the station. However, any special representatives of administrations, be they imperial, army or related to foreign countries, who have decrees for funerals or receptions (?), do not have to stay in the mentioned place more than a few minutes, and the prohibition does not concern them. Whoever does not obey, will be fined one riyâl majîdî. This also extends to the carriage drivers and carriers who insist to take passengers with them or carry their things without their consent. In order for everyone to be aware of this, this announcement based on the decision of the specialized commission was published on the 31st of Agustos (1)316 (13th of September 1900). [2 signatures] |
