Description | Case of the enclosure of Christian cemeteries (Latin, Greek, Armenian) on Mount Zion. Incident relating to an Ottoman government order sent at the request of the Latin Patriarch of Jerusalem, Monsignor Valerga. Strict status quo maintained regarding the sanctuary of the Dormition of the Virgin Mary. Prohibition to enclave it in the adjacent Greek cemetery. Reserve of the right of passage in favour of the Latin clergy to go to the Latin cemetery through the Greek and Armenian cemeteries. Fencing of the Latin cemetery almost completed. (pp. 267-282) |
