Description | Sending of the copy of the collective and identical report of the two architects[in annex] of the French and Russian governments approved by the territorial government concerning the demolition and rebuilding of the great dome[of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre] and the construction of the temporary shelter. Adoption by the two architects of the temporary shelter plan of our architect Mr. Mauss. Minutes of the delivery to the Governor, by the two consuls of France and Russia, of this document noting their current agreement as to the points contained therein. Instant request for the prompt making, by the orders of the governor of Palestine, Kurshid Pasha, of a model of the great dome essential for the consuls and for him as well as the sending to the governor of the sum necessary for this purpose. Speed in making and sending the smaller model sent to Constantinople by the former governor Sureya Pasha. (PP. 118-125) |
