Description | Arrival of the new Russian Consul, Mr. Kardsoff. Notice of the deposit at the Russian Embassy in Constantinople of 50,000 francs, half the cost of the temporary shelter. Forced delay in the construction of this shelter, although France is ready. Approximate estimate by our architect, Mr. Mauss, for the rebuilding of the great dome. France's contribution according to its report: not more than five hundred thousand francs; not less than four hundred thousand francs. Request for help, workers and a French accountant. Acknowledgement and heartfelt thanks for the precise directions and information from the last expedition. Saladin Hospice.
