Description | Sureya Pasha and Mr Gladkiy receive the protocol for the reconstruction of the great dome of the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Following this dispatch, the presence of a booklet alluded to by the Consul in his letter, folios 337-341, containing the exchanges of letters relating to the dome of the Holy Sepulchre, between the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Paris, Mr Thouvenel, the French Ambassador in Constantinople, the Marquis de Moustier, and the French Ambassador in Vienna, the Duke of Gramont, as well as the protocol signed in Constantinople by the representatives of France, Russia and Turkey on 5 September 1862.
