Description | Presence in Jerusalem of His Beatitude the Greek Catholic Patriarch of Antioch, Jerusalem and Alexandria, Monsignor Gregorios Youseph and Monsignor Ciorcia, Latin Bishop Delegate of the Holy See for Egypt and Ethiopia. Their readiness to bring to the Emperor's agent the expression of their feelings of gratitude and respectful sympathies for France and His Majesty. Observation concerning the sending and drafting of the document concerning the donation to France, to the government of the Emperor, of the national domain of Pater Noster. Arrival of Mr. Saltzmann and the painters in charge of executing under his direction the exterior paintings of the large dome. P.S. Solemn Mass and public prayers recited at the milk cave near Bethlehem by the T.R. Father Vicar of the Holy Land on the occasion of the First Communion of H.A.I. the Imperial Prince. (PP. 40-41) |
