Description | Acknowledgement of receipt of dispatch No. 3 of 4 February 1881. Dispatch number two hasn't arrived. Curious fact that leads most Muslim families in Jerusalem to teach their children the French language. The missionaries of Sainte Anne of the French receive daily applications for admission. There will soon be a shortage of staff and space for children's classes. This movement is undoubtedly determined by the universal desire to learn our language, but it is only fair to add that the prudence, tact and respect that the missionaries of St. Anne have for the beliefs of Muslims have much contributed to inspire them confidence.
