Description | Prompt demolition of the hemispherical cap of the great cupola of the Holy Sepulchre and the chambers of the hospice saladin adherent to the drum of the cupola. Exit against their will, without prior compensation, at our request, of the secular holders of these rooms. Pray to the minister and the embassy to obtain fair compensation for this very poor family, one of the oldest in this country and which, in critical circumstances, has given France sympathy. The head of this family who himself occupied the rooms with his mother is the Nakib el Eschraf (or head of the scherif nobles). His name is Abd el Moutaleb. (pp. 336-339) |
