Notification that is has been deemed inappropriate for the governor of Jerusalem to leave his station. The governor had requested to come to Istanbul and give information on a number of issues, including the dispute between the Greek Patriarchate and the Orthodox population, the conflicts of the Armenian Patriarchate, the matter of the Chief Rabbi’s election and of Jewish migration, and the imposition of the tithe. 1: signed by The Governor of Jerusalem; 2: no signature.
